IT Support Technician

Role Overview: 
The IT Support Technician provides frontline technical assistance to users, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software, and systems. This role is essential for resolving day-to-day IT issues and maintaining productivity across the organization. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Respond to user queries and troubleshoot hardware/software issues 
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices 
  • Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions 
  • Support Microsoft 365, email systems, and basic cloud tools 
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets and assist with procurement 
  • Document support requests and resolutions in ticketing systems 
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or external vendors 

Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Diploma or certificate in IT or Computer Support 
  • Familiarity with Windows OS, Office Suite, and basic networking 
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills 
  • Experience with helpdesk software and remote support tools
