Networking Engineer

Role Overview:
The Networking Engineer designs, implements, and maintains the organization’s network infrastructure. This includes LAN/WAN systems, firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs — ensuring secure, high-performance connectivity across all environments. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points 
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues 
  • Implement and maintain VPNs, VLANs, and network segmentation 
  • Ensure network security through firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access controls 
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to detect and mitigate threats 
  • Document network architecture, configurations, and change logs 
  • Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions 

Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Degree or diploma in Networking, IT, or Computer Science 
  • Certifications like CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or Fortinet NSE preferred 
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols 
  • Experience with enterprise-grade networking hardware and monitoring tools 
  • Ability to work independently and manage complex infrastructure
